Life is so fragile.
Gi just shared with me that 2 days ago, her friend's dad passed away. Heart attack. One day before his death, the doctor told him he still has about 5 more years to live. The next day, her friend went to her dad's room to wake him up, but her dad was cold and stiff, and she realized the fact that he passed on. She being the only child to her divorced parents had to call the ambulance, tell them what happened and everything. All these all by herself. The poor child is 18 if i'm not wrong.
When gi told me about it, i felt so much in my heart. I was so close to tears. Even though i don't know who the girl is and all, i could feel the fear, the confusion, the disbelief, all at that point of time when she tried to wake her dad up. I can imagine how scared and afraid she would have felt, with no one beside her and with her at that point of time, and despite everything, had to remain calm because she has to do what had to be done. I admire her courage. Imagine the grieve, and the pain of knowing that the dad actually had 5 more years to live, but why the next day? Imagine her hopes all crashing down.
God i pray you be with her throughout this period of her life. She'll probably never read this, but God i know and i know you will be with her
I know you will.
