Reality Check

as we go on, we remember, all the times we, had together.
and as our lives change, come whatever, we will still be, friends forever <3

the journey started on 2th june and the journey ended on 15th july (: One month 13 days.
to be exact, i met claudia, sabrina, shiying and xie shun on the 1st of july; heats. we were not really close at first but 2nd july (photoshoot) was the time where brought us together and made us bonded with each other; heats 3 and heats 4. During that time, i started to knew the rest of the awesome semi finalist; Kamsani, Welson, Christopher, Brevian, Xin Wei, Jack.. these few loved ones (:

the next thing that bonded us even more was the trip to the Pertapis home. we met the heats 1 and 2 peeps. haha we were kinda cold towards each other at the beginning but everything was okay when we all reached the home and interacted with the kids (: after visiting the home, a few of us went to orchard! we exchanged numbers, sang on the train with people looking at us (but we didn't really care) went with shiying, xieshun, welson and xinwei to music school! i wanted to see how is it (: and OMG its so cool! yeah (: welson had to leave earlier. before that he ask me and xinwei to come out of the music school for awhile and at the side of the street, welson asked me to sing to him. i was reluctant and finally, i sang for the first time in my life, sang confidently despite people staring at me. it boosted my confidence! THANKS WELSON! xieshun, shiying, xinwei and me went chinatown! we ate errr.. kuay chap! and xieshun and xinwei always gang up and bluff me!! i always fall for their lies.. grr.. they also say next time people sell me apples $1000 i will also buy. i NOT SO NAIVE!!! hahahahaha but really, it was great going out with you guys. the fun, the sua ku look on our faces, the acting-as-tourist thingy. it was all so enjoyable (:

The vocal training at LWSSOM (Lee Wei Song School Of Music) was next. we went into an empty classroom, sang and practiced our songs! the room was filled with laughter. the in-charge even had to ask us to lower our volumes because we were kinda loud and that there were classes going on. OOPS :X after all the vocal trainings, we went orchard! (yet again!) after that everyone left, leaving me and welson behind! so in the end i went to the national library to help welson with his project that was due like the next day?? hahah AND HE MADE ME HIS REPORTER!!! OMG i swear it was awful!!

oh yeah! we were suppose to support eileen (MC student) in her singing competition but in the end me xinwei and welson went back to MC only to realise that there was no classroom available. SO WE WENT VIVO! :D hahaha omg so cool right? xinwei xinwei! remember we made welson try on a medium sized top from topshop. HAHA! it was so fun luh!

day before semi finals (: we went down to suntec for interview session on stage. we bonded more with the heats 1 and 2 people this time. we camwhored!! (well not exactly but still, we took photos AND NEOS!!) so awesome eh?(:

Semi Finals. the day had finally arrived after soo long. we met at mr sunji matsu's salon to have our hair styled and yes! my hairstylist was funny!

me: ehh what are you going to do with my hair?
stylist: style?
me: what style??
stylist: what are you going to wear?
me: dress *shows him the dress*
stylist: ohh okay. *starts styling*
me: ehhh so what hair style??
stylist: jap style :D

OMG and in the end my hair was made the jap way. HAHA. dont know whether to laugh, cry or smile. sabbie and xie shun went first cause they were the earlier batch. in the end cabbed back with doreen and shiying to suntec and we reached earlier than sabbie and xieshun!! hahahaha so cute! make up was done by silky-LADIES again (germaine shall be polite :D) and ok luh this time everything was soso except for the lip stick. like omg? red? no thanks.

we had a brief rehearsal! (: haha wooo~ it was quite scary but yeah (: it was ok overall (i hoped?) claudia had a bad throat! oh no ): welson was sick! ): everyone wasn't feeling well.. AHH ): i felt sorry for them.. my best friends in the competition.. after all the waiting finally the competition started. ernie started the show with her amazing vocals. wow o.o THANKS FOR THOSE WHO CAME!! later i shall mention you guys (: i was quite moody for awhile. haha but after that i was ok (: it was finally my turn. i gave my best. i had no regrets (: thanks for those who encouraged me after i performed (: SAMANTHA!<3 bestie! thanks for the bangle :D hahaha (:

while waiting for the votes to be calculated and results to be out, we each grouped into groups of 4 and yeah we went up stage. omg. kena sabo-ed by the audience until very jia lat. HAHA those present will know what happened! hahaha omg seriously (:

the votes came in. results were out. one by one i see my besties getting in. welson was the first in the group of the close friends who got into the finals. wow. me claudia brevian shiying actually cried for him at the holding area.. OMG!! we were sooo happy for him! finally (: (see i told you you could get in) (: next one was shiying i think? well im not sure of the order but one by one everyone knew their fate. including me. my journey ended here. (: well i can say i am proud of myself and i did not regret. i gave my best (:

well the reason why i blogged all these in a single post again was to remind me of those memories we spent together. teenage icon 07 <3 together we shall stand. never be apart (: when the results were out and i did not enter, i felt a sense of satisfaction (: i told myself "Finally everything is over" and yeah! I AM SOO GLAD THAT WELSON, SABRINA, XIN WEI AND SHIYING WENT IN!!!~ AHHHH YOU GUYS ROCK!! KAMSANI AND CHRIS TOO!! me, claudia brevian and xieshun will come down to the finals to support you guys (: PROMISE ;)

the times we spent together will never be forgotten. from the bottom of my heart i thank you guys for all the happy memories you have given to me.

brevian; its alright that you didnt proceed okays? jia you and concentrate on your school's talent time (: loves!
